We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Reykjavik Centrum. It is in an absolutely wonderful location. We were there for Christmas, so there was a small Christmas market / ice skating rink about 1 minute away from the entrance. It is about a 10 minute walk to get to Laugavegar Street (shopping area) + the rainbow street. Tons of restaurants within walking distance as well. It is also very close to the Bus Stop #1, which is where a lot of tours pick up. The rooms facing the outside street can catch a bit of extra noise on weekend nights, but nothing too crazy. Room and bed were comfortable. Bathroom had all the amenities, but the shower is small! The breakfast is good and they have a lot of options available. I would definitely recommend this location for your stay in Reykjavik!

I have to commend the receptionist on duty when we checked out, Peter, who was a real life-saver, when e left our passports in the in-room safe and only realised when we arrived at Keflavik airport! When I rang the hotel, Peter quickly got the passports and organised a taxi to ferry them to the airport. He then rang me back to let me know the taxi was en-route, which helped put my mind at ease, and the passports arrived well before boarding closed. As for the hotel itself, it's in an ideal location, the lobby, bar and breakfast restaurant are very attractive, and there's a good buffet breakfast with hot and cold options.

Right in the centre of Reykjavik close to all restaurants and attractions. We couldn’t have been closer. It’s around the corner from bus stop 1 which is absolutely ideal. Really nice reception staff who assisted in helping us to plan our trips and gave recommendations . Bed was so comfy and slept really well. Lovely buffet breakfast and a gorgeous cozy bar with happy hour from 1600hrs to 1900hrs. They also will make you sandwiches if you are going on a long tour which is handy.

The hotel is right in the centre of Reykjavik, near to the harbour and main shopping streets. Most of the museums are within a 5-15 minute radius (one is even underneath the hotel). You can also walk to the main bus station in 20 minutes, or get picked up for tours from the bus stop that is 100m away. The staff were very friendly and the hotel is very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend it!

This was a very good choice of hotel in an excellent, central but quiet location. The staff could not have been more helpful and the included breakfast was delicious and varied. There was a lovely atmosphere to the hotel. The room was comfortable with a few minor things that could have been improved. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again.
